Redmond, Wash. – Microsoft will open six more showrooms this summer, raising the U.S. store count to 41 locations nationwide.
The new stores will be located in the Natick Mall in Natick, Mass.; the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii; Pioneer Place in Portland, Ore.; The Somerset Collection in Troy, Mich.; and Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Ill.
The openings, announced today by Microsoft’s communications strategy general manager Jonathan Adashek in a company blog, will follow the addition of six stores early this year in Miami, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Francisco, St. Louis and Beachwood, Ohio, and the opening of 51 permanent and “pop-up” showrooms last year.
The company currently operates 29 of the temporary pop-up shops, some of which are holdovers from the holiday season and several which will become permanent locations, Adashek said.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
