Newark, Calif. — Logitech has added to its Harmony line of remote with the introduction of the Harmony Touch.

The device lets users add, remove and re-order up to 50 channel icons from their cable or satellite providers on a 2.4-inch color touchscreen. Channels, games and music can be accessed by tapping, swiping or scrolling the screen.

Set up is done online.

Its design is meant to be sleek and ergonomic with a streamlined button layout, Logitech said. Features include backlit keys, charging station, compatibility with more than 225,000 home-entertainment devices and more than 5,000 brands, and ability to control up to 15 devices.

It will be available this month for a $249 suggested retail.
