Englewood Cliffs, N.J. – LG proved the naysayers wrong Friday by announcing the deliveries of the first 55-inch curved OLED FullHD TVs to Magnolia customers.
LG officially launched the first 55-inch curved OLED TV through Best Buy’s flagship Magnolia Designer Center showroom last week. But some doubters had said production issues would the manufacturer from delivering the sets to customers for weeks or even months.
“Since it went on sale last week at Magnolia stores inside Best Buy, the 55-inch curved OLED TV from LG Electronics has been purchased by early-adopter consumers across the country, from Texas to Minnesota to Oregon,” LG said in a statement announcing the deliveries this week.
The sets also received Energy Star certification this week.
In the coming weeks, Magnolia stores inside Best Buy in Dallas, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Houston, San Francisco, Chicago and San Antonio will be displaying and selling the ultra-thin new $14,999 premium LG OLED TV, the company said.
