Mahwah, N.J. – Longtime industry product development expert Mark Knox rejoined former employer Sharp Electronics at the start of the year as a product and marketing consultant, focused on the launch of the Sharp WiSA-compliant Universal Player, the company confirmed for TWICE Monday.
Knox’s extensive CE marketing background has included product and marketing leadership roles at Toshiba, Sharp, Samsung, Denon and Panasonic, and included the launches of numerous key technology platforms for his employers, including the U.S. launch of the first DVD player (Samsung) and first HD DVD players (Toshiba).
In his past role with Sharp, Knox had specialized in new advanced home audio product development and evangelism, among other technologies.
