Scottsdale, Ariz. — Ingram Micro’s consumer electronics division (IMCE) has announced a domestic distribution relationship with Magellan, a maker of portable handheld GPS receivers.
The Magellan product line offered to IMCE customers will feature popular handheld, waterproof eXplorist Outdoor GPS units, including the eXplorist 110, 310, 510, 610 and 710 models, plus the eXplorist GC geo-caching device and accessories.
The Magellan eXplorist GPS devices have become an essential accessory for hikers, campers, hunters and the marine community. Tim Coakley, merchandising and vendor management VP for IMCE, said, “Interest in outdoor related products has grown significantly over the past two years. Our agreement with Magellan is an additional achievement by IMCE to meet this increased demand while also enabling adjacencies to the IMCE customer base.”
Magellan’s eXplorist line is now available through IMCE’s website at IMCE.com or by contacting a sales associate at (800) 733-6766. IMCE’s sales and service professionals are available to process orders between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday.
Customers can place orders through IMCE’s website 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
