Denver -- HydraConnect this week announced improvements to its HSS line of HDMI matrix processors.
The company has added three new system drivers, for Savant, Bitwise Controls and Elan g! automation systems, and has extended the replacement warranty on its processors to five years.
The HSS line already supports Control4, Crestron, RTI, and iRule systems.
Current owners of HSS-2 and HSS-3 processors will have their existing warranties retroactively reset to the original date of purchase.
"We have enjoyed exceptional product reliability from our U.S.-made products," said David Schanin, HydraConnect's president. "The HSS product line has proven to be physically rugged and electronically reliable. Our cloud based software updates keep each system current without the need for an onsite visit. Remote access capability is built in and enables a technician or the factory to troubleshoot the system from anywhere in the world."
HydraConnect's HSS matrix switches provide advanced system automation, automatic set-up and interface processing through the use of an onboard UNIX computer. The integrated web-based interface allows installers to use a laptop, tablet or smartphone to automatically set up and test all connected devices.
Installed HSS products that are connected to the Internet are part of HydraConnect's cloud so when software updates are necessary, they occur automatically in the early morning hours without user intervention or dealer visits.
