Plano, Texas—Huawei launched a promotional campaign tied in with the movie Thor: The Dark World.
Huawei is the exclusive cellphone partner for the movie.
The campaign’s theme “Make it Possible” was chosen to reflect Huawei’s brand positioning , said Michael Chuang, EVP of Huawei Device USA. Like the movie’s super hero, he said, “we are in the business of making the impossible possible.”
For the campaign, consumers who purchase select Huawei devices between now and Dec. 31 can get free movie tickets, branded merchandise, or film footage downloads at www.MakeItPossibleUS.com.
The online portion of the campaign kicked off on the company’s Facebook page and www.MakeItPossibleUS.com.
As part of the campaign, the company also plans to offer private screenings of the film in Seattle, Detroit, Baltimore and San Diego on Nov. 7, attendance to a special event in New York City at the Barclay Center on November 9, movie posters autographed by the film’s cast, two mash-up videos, and two stop motion videos featuring Marvel’s Super Hero Thor.
