Barrington, Ill. — The Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) congregated in Chicago earlier this week for its three-day HTSA Marketing Summit II.
The summit featured educational presentations and collaborative workshops, all designed to increase “the reach and authority of specialty integrators and retailers,” the group said.
Speakers included Bob Hana, HTSA managing director, who recapped the group’s recent activity, and Kathleen Marini, HTSA marketing director, who provided an overview of the group’s benefits and its tools available to members.
Author and trainer Heather Lutze keynoted the event, detailing the overall goal of social-media marketing as well as describing best practices for keyword optimization, content generation and social-media profiles.
The summit also featured Sher Kahn, strategic relationship specialist at Google, as a speaker.
During the event, attendees were able to take advantage of presentations from peers on such topics as best practices for working with designers and architects, tips for effective event promotion, and advice for creating demand generation for project business.
Recently added member benefits include the HTSA Continuing Education Webinar Series, which consists of monthly webinars meant to provide tactical social media, SEO, PR and digital marketing guidance.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
