St. James, N.Y. – Global Warranty Group (GWG) has entered into an agreement with SeniorTech to include its signature Wireless Protection Program with every activation of the vendor’s prepaid Snapfon cell phone for seniors.
GWG’s program offers comprehensive coverage, including lost, stolen, broken, accidental and liquid damage, for various types of wireless devices.
Snapfons are quad-band world phones that are designed to be easy to see and use. Simple features include enhanced volume, an SOS emergency button, large font display, and a “talking” keypad.
“We welcome the opportunity to partner with Snapfon, to give their consumers yet another great product that is easy to use,” said GWG president Charles Pipia. “There is a universal need for all wireless devices to be protected, regardless of cost or features.”
Added SeniorTech president Phil Seig: “The Wireless Protection Program will provide security and peace-of-mind and we are proud to offer our customers this added value. To be able to provide this comprehensive coverage, while providing a program that is simple and easy to use if there is ever a problem, is also a huge benefit to our customers.”
Based in Chattanooga, Tenn., privately-held SeniorTech develops large-key cell phones and high-visibility keyboards for kids and seniors under the Snapfon and Visikey brands. It also provides no-contract cellular service at highly competitive prices.
GWG describes itself as North America’s largest dealer-based administrator of insurance-backed wireless device protection programs, which are carried by over 8,000 independent wireless retail locations.
