Indianapolis – Klipsch-owned Energy shipped its first two indoor/outdoor speakers.
The two-way Energy Take Classic I/O 4 and I/0 5 speakers retail for a suggested $99 and $149/ pair, respectively. Both weatherproof models feature UV-treated cabinets, rust-resistant grills, mounting brackets and five-way, gold-plated binding posts. The Take Classic I/O 4 features 0.5-inch tweeter and a 4-inch woofer. The Take Classic I/O 5 features 1-inch tweeter and 5.25-inch woofer. They can be used with dual M6 threaded inserts.
Both feature paintable white cabinets, and both are designed for installation on backyard decks, sunrooms and other weather-exposed areas.
