Amsterdam, The Netherlands — Display Development, distributor and manufacturer of custom-engineered projection display systems, is expanding its international presence.
The company is accomplishing this by using multiple locations at ISE 2013, here Jan. 29-31, including booth placements at partners, Home Cinema Europe and Stewart Filmscreen.
Among the products being featured, are Display Development’s new in-wall video projection systems.
The custom in-wall projectors are said to offer installation flexibility, and strong brightness capable placement even in settings with ambient light.
The new IW7 and IW8 are billed as providing space-saving solutions for environments where a ceiling-mounted projector is not practical.
Both systems use single-chip DLP projectors, the VP 100 video scaler and Smart Cooling technology. Both provide a range of possible screen sizes.
The IW7 ($10,000 suggested retail) produces 4,200 lumens of brightness for areas with ambient light, while the IW8 ($7,000 suggested retail) produces up to 1,800 lumens of brightness and is capable of delivering the color accuracy needed for a true home-theater system in a light-controlled environment.
At the ISE 2013 show, the Reference System One 2K projection system in the Stewart Filmscreen booth will showcase high-end applications with a four-way masking screen system to accommodate a wide array of image sizes and aspect ratios.
The Reference System One 2K outputs up to 30,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and utilizes Display Development’s light path and signal processing.
The lens mechanism increases the Reference Series Systems’ performance with programmable aspect ratios.
Working with its Norwegian partners, Display Development also announced locations for the Projectiondesign Avielo projector line.
The Home Cinema Europe booth will feature a state-of-the-art high-end home theater featuring Avielo Helios Studio Edition E with RealScope as well as ADA, RBH Sound, D-Box and Screen Innovations.
