Lake Success, N.Y. — Coby Electronics introduced three TVs in its “16 Series” of LED TVs, featuring the brand’s thinnest bezel designs to date.

The new TVs, which ship this month in time for the holiday buying season, are available in three screen sizes: 29, 32 and 39 inches.

Models include the 29-inch LEDTV2916 ($230 suggested retail), the 32-inch LEDTV3216 ($250) and 39-inch LEDTV3916 ($350).

The new sets offer new energy-efficiency levels including standby power consumption of less than 0.5 watts and Energy Star 5.3 conformity, extended backlight life expectancy (30,000 hours), built-in digital TV tuning (ATSC/NTSC/QAM), HDMI inputs, SRS surround sound, digital noise reduction, V-chip parental controls, closed-captioning and electronic program guide support.

Coby’s TVs have been recognized by the EPA as Energy Star 5.3 compliant.

“Coby’s newest collection of LED TVs underscores the company’s continued commitment to provide consumers with innovative, accessibly priced products that offer the latest, must-have technology,” said David Naranjo, Coby Electronics national marketing manager. “With an attractive, super-slim profile, built-in SRS Tru-Surround Sound audio and energy-efficient backlight technology, each new Coby LED TV delivers a stunning — and highly-affordable — complete entertainment solution.”
