Marion, Ind. — Almost 900 store managers and vendor representatives turned up last week for The Cellular Connection’s fourth annual managers rally.
Executives from the retailer, Verizon Wireless and Samsung spoke about current trends in handheld devices to the assembled managers, who also had an opportunity to party.
“The sales rally offers a dose of energy and inspiration to our sales team,” said Scott Moorehead, the retailer’s president/CEO. “This event allows our employees to stay on top of the latest advancements in technology from our diverse mix of vendors and gain valuable insight from experienced executives across multiple industries.”
The two-day rally was held last week in Indianapolis.
The Cellular Connection is the nation’s largest Verizon premium wireless retailer and focuses exclusively on selling Verizon service through almost 900 locations in 28 states. It employs 1,420 people. TCC is also partners with entertainer Jennifer Lopez in Viva Móvil, a chain of cellular stores targeted to Hispanics customers. The first store opened this summer in Brooklyn, N.Y. Moorehead oversees operations as CEO.
