Canon Makes $100K Donation To Sandy Effort

Lake Success, N.Y. — Canon USA donated $100,000 on Wednesday to AmeriCares to aid in the relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy.

 “On behalf of all employees at Canon USA, we extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to those affected by Hurricane Sandy,” said Joe Adachi, Canon USA president and CEO.

AmeriCares is a nonprofit disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization that provides immediate response to emergency medical needs — and supports long-term humanitarian assistance programs — for all people around the world, irrespective of race, creed or political persuasion.
