Chester Springs, Pa. — Azione Unlimited (AU), the educational/buying group for integrators and custom retailers, is starting its second year in business with a bang.
Twelve months after launching its first recruitment drive, the group, led by founder and CE veteran Richard Glikes, had completed what he described as “a focused vendor lineup” consisting of 32 manufacturer members, including such names as Harman, Integra, Samsung, Sonance and Stewart Filmscreen.
On the retail side, the roster includes 64 dealer in 25 states with combined sales of more than $200 million and nearly 1,000 employees.
AU’s goal, said Glikes, is to up the membership to 250 dealers nationwide, with an eye toward creating a market unto itself.
“Our primary goal is to deliver exceptional profits to all members to ensure long-term success,” Glikes said. “The value proposition AU offers has resulted in unprecedented growth in one year. We have accomplished a great deal.”
Glikes will unveil a three-year strategic plan when the group convenes April 10-12 for its dealer-vendor conference in St. Louis. For more information, contact Glikes at (610) 280-3840 or email@example.com.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
