Nokia’s LTE-equipped 1520 camera-oriented phablet features a 6-inch screen, Microsoft Office, 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU and an app to handwrite messages.

Dallas – AT&T’s first Windows Phone phablet will be priced at $199 and will available on Nov. 22.

The 4G LTE Nokia Lumia 1520 features 6-inch 1080p display, quad-core 2.2GHz processor, 20-megapixel camera, and the latest version of the Windows Phone OS, called 8.1.

AT&T’s $199 price for the devices comes with a two-year contract or $27 per month for 24 months under AT&T’s Next trade-up program. It will be available in matte black, matte yellow, matte white and glossy red with 16GB of onboard storage plus a 64GB MicroSD card slot. The carrier also plans to offer the 32GB version of the phablet in the near future.

The phablet, unveiled last month by Nokia, is exclusive to AT&T.

The updated Windows 8.1 OS supports larger displays and more Live Tiles, enabling users to get to a particular app or data faster with less scrolling. The email app, for example, now shows one additional row of content in the email Live tile on the start screen.

Another key feature is the new Papyrus app, available on a Windows Phone for the first time to let users jot down handwritten notes.

It also comes with Nokia’s creative Pro Camera app, which lets users manually adjust flash, focus, ISO, shutter speed, white balance and exposure, as well as re-frame a photo and zoom in and out.
