ADL To Collect Items For Hurricane Sandy Victims At Sat. Event

New York – The Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) National Consumer Technology Industry group will be collecting items for Hurricane Sandy victims on Saturday evening during its annual awards tribute and dinner dance at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, here.

Attendees to the black tie event, which will honor Todd Bradley, executive VP of HP’s Personal Systems Group, Dennis May, CEO of h.h. gregg, and John Shalam, founder and chairman of Voxx International, have been asked to bring blankets, winter coats, batteries, bottled water and canned goods to donate to local areas in need.

The ADL said in an email that it will have “collection boxes for these items at the event registration tables.” Also all meals and unused food from those that are unable to attend the event due to the recent storm will also be donated to local shelters and areas in need, the ADL said.
