Los Angeles - A 7-inch Android 4.0 tablet hit the market at $79 with the availability of the eGlide 4 at Walmart.com.

The eGlide 4 at $79 features Android 4.0, 7-inch screen, and 1GHz processor.
The eGlide 4 is the fifth Android 4.0 tablet released by eGlide this year. To download apps, all access eGlide's own app store rather than Google's Google Play store.

The company's 4.0 tablet lineup now includes three 7-inch models, a 9.7-inch model, and a 10-inch model at prices ranging up to $219. The previous opening price for the company's Android 4.0 tablets was $119 for a 7-inch model available in late May.

The eGlide 4 features 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, an additional 5GB of cloud storage, and MicroSD card slot for an extra 32GB of storage.

The tablet also features a built-in voice recorder, Kobo's e-reading app, and included Office Suite application for Word, PowerPoint and Excel files. The eGlide 4 connects to HDTVs to play back video on a larger screen.
