LG Plans CES Computer Roll Out

Updated! Las Vegas – LG Electronics will greatly expand its computer line at the 2014 International CES.

The roll out will include a thin laptop, hybrid tablet/laptop and an all-in-one (AIO) desktop.

LG said it has no plans to ship these products into the U.S. market.

The 13.3-inch 13Z940 ultra thin weighs in at under 2.2 pounds and is powered by an Intel Haswell Core i5 processor. It can be equipped with either a 128GB or 256GB solid state drive.

The LG Tab Book 2 tablet/laptop has an 11.6-inch, 10-point touch display. The keyboard stays tucked under the display and is brought out when a button is pressed on the side of the unit. No further specifications were released.

The last unit to be introduced is the AIO. It features a 27-inch Full HD IPS display. The model quickly switches from PC to TV mode without the need to reboot the PC, the company said. In addition, when using the picture-in-picture function the user can watch TV and work on the computer at the same time.

The AIO runs on an Intel Core processor and an Nvidia GeForce GT 740M graphics card.
