Las Vegas – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) will launch an initiative to connect veterans with U.S. tech jobs at the 2014 International CES.
The program will be run with USTechVets and will focus on helping the estimated 1 million veterans in the country by utilizing their skills and experience to land civilian tech careers.
The online community is hosted at USTechVets.org, and the kick-off event will be held on Jan. 8 at 12:45 p.m. in the Experience CEA Booth in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center lobby with CEA president/CEO Gary Shapiro; Bobbie Kilberg, president and CEO, NVTC; and Steve Cooker, global government solutions executive VP, Monster Worldwide.
