Las Vegas - Soundmatters is at International CES to debut the foxL Duet, a compact desktop and travel-friendly AptX stereo Bluetooth satellite speaker and subwoofer system for portable devices.

The Duet combines a pocket-sized foxL speaker/speakerphone and a palm-sized foxLO powered subwoofer.

The Duet’s foxL portable speaker features dual tweeters and a BassBattery passive woofer. It features analog and Bluetooth connectivity with AptX for virtual CD-quality wireless streaming when used with AptX-equipped source devices, the company said.

It also features a built-in mic for wireless hands-free phone conferencing and up to 24 hours of wired battery life, 12 hours via Bluetooth.

The Duet's foxLO subwoofer features a Linear Magnetic Drive woofer with a proprietary dual passive radiator system, 30 watts of built-in amplification, audio input with variable bass level, power LED and a full pass audio out.

It can be oriented vertically or horizontally.

It will retail for a street price of $299 and be available in February.

The Duet is being demonstrated in Soundmatters' booth 5829 in the iLounge pavilion in the North Hall.
