Charlotte, N.C. - IFI Systems, launched the IFI Smart Tag during International CES last week that helps secure personal items against loss or theft.
IFI Smart Tag version T 4.0 connects with Apple iPhone 4s and 5, iPad 3 and iPad mini to secure personal items and works with the free ‘I Found It’ Phone app available on the App store website, the company said.
IFI Smart Tag works on advanced Bluetooth technology to provide “peace of mind” and is described as being “easy to use with cool features and attaches to personal items like keys, purses, luggage, and more,” the company said.
An alarm sounds when the tag and iPhone or iPad are separated. With a click of a button, the IFI Smart Tag works in reverse allowing you to track your iPhone or iPad. When the item is lost, a GPS notification will be sent to your email, iPhone or iPad. One ‘I Found It’ app can handle up to three tag items, and allows you to choose what sound your alarm will make.
IFI Smart Tag is available online at www.ifisystems.com and expected to be in retail stores soon. It will also be available for Android and Blackberry soon. The suggested retail price is $34.99 each.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
