A quick look around the just opened Flatbush, Brooklyn location of
LAS VEGAS — Beats Electronics named Ian Rogers CEO and announced a new music service known as Project Daisy.
Rogers will report to Beats CEO and co-founder Jimmy Iovine and president/COO Luke Wood. Rogers will also step into the leadership position at MOG, the streaming music service Beats acquired in 2012.
Project Daisy is set to launch in late 2013 as a stand-alone company under the Beats Electronics umbrella.
Rogers was most recently the CEO of Topspin was previously the general manager of Yahoo! Music. He will remain executive chairman of the Topspin board of directors.
