Panasonic Prices 32GB SDHC Card At $699

-- TWICE, 2/12/2008 7:31:00 AM

Secaucus, N.J. Panasonic said today that the 32GB SDHC card it announced at International CES will retail for $699.

The card is due to ship in April. It will have a Class 6 speed rating with a maximum data transfer speed of 20MBps.

Given its prospective use in HD camcorders, the SDHC card will have blank labels on the front and back to allow consumers to jot down relevant information. The blank-label concept will be introduced on all of Panasonic’s SD cards going forward, the company said.
