Terk Technologies Introduces Surge Protector, Video Selector

Staff -- TWICE, 4/16/2001

COMMACK, N.Y. — Terk Technologies has introduced its TSP-6 Surge Protector for electrical spike protection and VS-4 Video Selector for connection of a variety of audio/video components to a single television.

The TSP-6 offers eight protected AC outlets and phone-line surge protection. If surge protection is destroyed, the unit will automatically shut off and its power switch acts as a resettable circuit breaker. Suggested retail is $39.95.

The VS-4 involves simply hooking up input and output wires. Then, by pressing the matching selector button, consumers will be able to switch between components. It is S-video compatible for optimum video picture quality and works with RCA-type interconnects as well. Suggested retail also is $39.95.
