Coaxial Connector Optimizes Signals Across Components

Staff -- TWICE, 3/12/2001

GULF BREEZE, FLA. -Centerpin Technology is offering the Centerpin RCA Coaxial Connector at a suggested $5.99 retail.

The connector is designed to optimize signal performance by matching the connector components with the dimensions of specific coaxial types and sizes. For example, the RCA-CP/GH-01 is specific to RG-6 coaxial cable.

The Centerpin RCA Connector is designed to terminate with coaxial cable for multiple video and home theater applications. Because of the ease and speed of installation, a novice is able to install this connector in seconds with standard needle-nose pliers, the company said.

Ideal for indoor or outdoor use, the connector makes electrical contact internally and is completely sealed from the external environment. Connectors are able to accommodate RG-6, RG-6 Quad and RG-59 cables.

The connector is 1½ inches long by ½-inch in diameter and weighs 0.6 ounces. It is currently available.

The key to the performance of this connector revolves around duplicating the signal transfer of the cable through the connector and to the component, thus minimizing return and transmission loss.
