By Amy Gilroy -- TWICE, 7/24/2008 1:39:00 PM

Stillwater, Ok - Stillwater Designs maker of Kicker and SoundGate products is installing a car stereo museum, open to the public, in its new 900,000 square foot headquarters that overlooks Boomer lake.

Stillwater president Steve Irby moves in to his new office.

The stylized building will house a museum with regular tours and will feature car stereo history as well as showcase the company’s products. The building will also offer a store with promotional products, clothing, hats, and accessories. COO Gary Henderson, said, “With a museum opening in early 2009, we hope to give people a good look at what car audio is about….The combination of office space, warehouse, museum, and store is unique, and we hope customers ultimately see the uniqueness in our products, too.”

The new facility on Husband Street is four times the size of the old Stillwater headquarters. Although shipping and other operations have been functional at the site for over a year, the last of the employees moved in this month.
