TWICE/DisplaySearch To Host Flat-Panel TV Webinar June 26

Join TWICE and Display Search as we present "Surviving The TV Sales Hangover," a Webinar on the challenges facing the flat-panel TV business, that will be held Thursday, June 26 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST.

With profits at a premium for flat-panel TVs, the rapid commoditization of TVs where "flat and thin" is no longer a novelty, and the February 2009 digital TV transition looming, how can retailers and vendors navigate the changing marketplace?

This timely Webinar will discuss these issues and many more facing the flat-panel TV industry. Host and TWICE executive editor Greg Tarr will be joined by DisplaySearch's Paul Gagnon and Paul Gray, who will present the research firm's latest industry statistics. Panelists Bob Perry of Panasonic, Jonas Tanenbaum of Samsung and Jeff Schindler of Vizio will provide their insights as to how the market will perform during the near future.

TALKBACK:

In response to: Martin Says FCC Will Act 'Soon' On Sirius/XM, Big Al: "Chancellor Martin said the same things back in March. Looks like he's waiting for both providers to go belly-up before his agency approves the merger. This is so ridiculous it's not even funny. In the meantime, the Verizon acquisition of Alltel will be approved in minutes, even though it reduces the competition between wireless providers in many markets. I guess it all depends on who has the strongest lobbyists in the United Corporations of America."
