Digital Downtown To Be Held In N.Y. June 12-14

NEW YORK — The World Financial Center's Winter Garden will be the site of Digital Downtown, a consumer electronics showcase, which will be held June 12-14.

The event, produced in cooperation with the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), will showcase new technology demonstrations from 30 participating manufacturers and retailers, including Hitachi, LG, Pioneer, Sharp, Toshiba, Sirius, Panasonic, Best Buy and others.

Conferences and a media reception will be held on opening day June 12, starting at 10 a.m. Hours for the show each day are: Thursday, June 12 and Friday, June 13, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, June 14, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"Our industry is proud to be part of the redevelopment of Lower Manhattan," said Gary Shapiro, president/CEO of CEA.
