Toshiba Adds Dolby Volume To Regza TVs
San Francisco — Dolby Laboratories and Toshiba have reached an agreement making the TV manufacturer the first to market televisions incorporating its Dolby Volume audio-processing technology.

In response to: LG Spreads 'Scarlet' Fever, Glenn Thomas, St. George, Utah, owner, Reel Home Theater: "I believe that the MOST important feature of the new 2009 LG TV line is ISFccc (Certified Calibration Configuration). LG has not promoted it or told buyers or dealers which models this fantastic feature is featured on. Wake up LG. ISFccc is a huge benefit to TV buyers and dealers. We need you to promote it better and we need to know which models will feature it.

Spending The Tax Rebate
The Consumer Electronics Association's (CEA) economist Shawn DuBravac notes that about 20 percent of consumers plan to spend some portion of their forthcoming tax rebate checks on consumer electronics. He then asks, "What are you planning to do with your rebate check?"
That's easy: I have two kids and I file jointly. That means a nice little chunk of your money is coming my way (it's also my money too; well, actually it's China's money, as this rebate is being financed by debt … but I digress).
