-- TWICE, 3/27/2008 12:49:00 PM

San Diego — Adobe launched a public beta test of Photoshop Express, a free, Internet version of its Photoshop software.

The Internet application will store up to 2GB of consumer’s images, where they can then be edited and shared online. Photos can also be uploaded from Photoshop Express to social-networking sites like Facebook, Adobe said.

The site will provide users with basic editing tools, including the ability to remove red eye, crop, convert to black and white and to resize images.
