Chief Bows Wall Mount For Projectors

By Staff -- TWICE, 3/10/2008

MINNEAPOLIS — Chief Manufacturing has released its WPA projector wall mount for the installation of short-throw projectors.

The WPA boasts a built-in track design allowing the projector to be shifted up to 11 inches to create the ideal image size, Chief said. The mount includes integrated roll adjustments, post-installation extension adjustments and quick projector-connect/disconnect without tools.

WPA is compatible with all major short-throw projectors models, the company said, and can be ordered with custom or universal interface. Custom interfaces for Sanyo, Hitachi and Toshiba projectors are currently shipping.

The mount base measures 6.25 by 9.13 by 23 inches and has a weight capacity of 50 pounds. It comes fully assembled.

Features include steel-into-steel construction, lamp and filter access points, proprietary All-Points security system and integrated cable management. The WPA connects directly to Chief SLB projector interface brackets and can be used with Chief RPA or RPA Elite (without Q-Lock) series mounts.

The mount will ship in the first quarter at a price to be announced.
