Steve Duffield Of JL Audio Dies At Age 31

MIRAMAR, FLA. —Steve Duffield, technical support manager for JL Audio, died of an apparent heart attack Feb. 25. He was 31.

In announcing his passing JL Audio said in a statement, "Steve consistently exhibited patience, deep expertise and respect for our customers. We often received comments and emails from dealers and consumers he had helped, praising his willingness to help and go the extra mile to answer their questions or solve their technical problems."

"As technical support manager, Steve was very well liked and respected by his co-workers and played a huge role in JL Audio's consistently high industry rankings for tech support over the years," said a spokesperson.

Duffield joined JL Audio in 1999 as a technical support specialist.
