Carl Vogel, president of Dish Network, has resigned from the post for personal reasons and has been replaced by Charlie Ergen, who continues as chairman and CEO of Dish Network and EchoStar. Vogel will remain vice chairman of Dish Network and EchoStar, reporting to Ergen.
