By Doug Olenick -- TWICE, 1/7/2008

LAS VEGAS — Fujitsu will ship in March its LifeBook U810 mini tablet PC with built-in AT&T BroadbandConnect capability.

The ultra-portable U810 is centered on a 5.6-inch LED touchscreen capable of swiveling into position so the notebook can be used as a Tablet PC. The laptop weighs 1.5 pounds with 5.5 hours of battery life.

The device is expected to ship with a $1,499 suggested retail price.

The BroadbandConnect Internet connection is handled through an embedded modem supporting the 3G AT&T network.

It can deliver upload speeds in the 500KBps to 800KBps range, while it can download at a rate of 600KBps to 1.4MBps.
