By Doug Olenick -- TWICE, 12/17/2007

NEW YORK — Dell held a public unveiling of the Dell XPS One all-in-one PC here Dec. 6 at a cocktail party in the trendy SoHo section of Manhattan.

On hand for the event was Victoria Secret's supermodel and Dell One spokeswoman Karolina Kurkova who posed with the PC and Dell executives. Kurkova is appearing in print ads with the One.

The Dell One was initially launched on Nov. 19.

Dell is marketing four basic models of the One — The Essential One, The Music One, The Performance One and The Entertainment One — ranging in price from $1,499 to $2,399. All are now available direct from Dell.

All the models feature 20-inch displays, various Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 2GB of memory, hybrid analog/digital TV tuner and Microsoft Vista Home Premium. The higher-end models have more powerful processors and larger hard drives.
