Jabra Adds To BT Headset Line

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 12/3/2007

NASHUA, N.H. — Engineered to play music wirelessly and connect up to eight devices, the BT8040 weighs less than 10 grams and features a "no hook" wearing style.

It features active noise reduction, intelligent volume settings that equalize incoming audio volume, and acoustic shock protection. When pairing the headset to a Bluetooth-enable mobile phone, the BT8040 will go into pairing mode when it's turned on. Users set their phone to "discover" the headset, and the phone will reportedly find the BT8040. The headset can also be manually paired if the user wishes to pair it with a second device. It can connect up to eight devices, and two devices at any one time.

The BT8040 comes with three ear gel sizes. It has a $99.99 suggested retail and is currently available.
