Russound Bows Efficient Custom Speakers

By Staff -- TWICE, 11/19/2007

NEWMARKET, N.H. — Russound launched its first custom speaker line intended for low-power multiroom-audio systems.

The high-efficiency Ratio series of three in-ceiling speakers and one in-wall speaker is targeted to low-cost installations that use in-wall volume controls or low-power amplified in-wall keypads. "This gives integrators new options and versatility in specifying multiroom audio systems," said product manager Brad Sylvester.

Stereo speakers start at $150 street price per pair, and a single-point stereo speaker is a street price of $125.
