K2 Bows Mounts, CPU Holders

CHINO, CALIF. — K2 Mounts announced last month they were shipping a variety of space mounting solutions and CPU holders.

Workspace panel mounts are available for displays ranging from 13 inches to 23 inches. They all feature a locking quick-release Vesa bracket, and all of the mounts and holders are UL approved and come with any installation hardware needed.

Prices for the workspace mounts vary from $64.99 to $399, while the CPU holders have suggested retails ranging from $99.99 to $149.

The standard arm single display mount, with a capacity of 28 pounds, has a dual aluminum arm that attaches through the existing desk mounting area or by using a desk clamp mount.

Horizontal and pole desk mounts that hold one to four monitors feature a 28-pound capacity. They can mount through the existing desk mounting area or by using a desk clamp. The horizontal mounts offer a side-by-side option and the pole mounts offer single and dual aluminum swing arms..

Also available from K2 are aluminum arm track wall mounts, standard arm wall mounts and locking CPU cradles. The track wall mount and standard wall mount feature a 28-pound capacity; different styles and configurations are available.

The locking CPU cradle mounts/suspends from under the desk and are offered in single or fully adjustable double capacity configurations.

Finally, K2 also introduced its Underbed lift, which enables a 42- to 50-inch plasma or LCD TV to be tucked underneath a king- or queen-sized bed.

The left, right and center channels are mounted beneath the screen, allowing the sound stage to rotate with the lift. A rack option allows all A/V equipment to be placed in the lift and under the bed.

It has a 165-pound weight capacity.

Suggested retails for the Underbed lifts are as follows: 40-inch displays retail for $13,997, 40- to 43-inch displays retail for $15,997, and 45- to 50-inch displays retail for $17,997.
