Ingram Micro Bows V7-Brand Bags

SANTA ANA, CALIF. — V7, the private-label house brand of distributor Ingram Micro, has furthered it presence in the accessories category by launching a new line of carrying cases and backpacks for notebook PCs.

Two top-loading carrying cases, the Associate (J16415) and the Professional (J16416), feature compartments that can be locked and are equipped with a notebook strongbox made of high-density foam padding.

Multiple compartments are offered for storage accessories and peripherals, including sleeves for cellphones and portable media players. The cases have a carrying handle, padded shoulder strap and trolley-fastening strap for attachment to rolling luggage.

The Associate measures 3.1 inches by 12.6 inches by 15.3 inches, weighs 2.09 pounds and has a suggested retail of $29.99. The larger Professional is 4.5 by 16.3 by 13.2 inches, weighs 2.7 pounds and has a suggested retail of $39.99.

The backpack models, the Mission (J16429) and the Venture (J16430), feature large main compartment and sleeves for documents and mobile equipment.

The Mission backpack measures 5.1 by 14.9 by 20.4 inches, weighs 2.8 pounds and has a suggested retail of $49.99. It can hold a notebook up to 17 inches.

The Venture, for laptops up to 15.4 inches, measures 8.7 by 17.7 by 14.2 inches, weighs 2.5 pounds and has a suggested retail of $54.99.
