Resellers 'Experience' Electrograph

By Alan Wolf -- TWICE, 11/5/2007

NEW YORK — Electrograph Systems, the national display technology distributor, strutted its A/V stuff at the company's annual Display Technology Experience (DTE), held here last month at Manhattan's Metropolitan Pavilion.

The event, co-sponsored by NEC, Pioneer and Sharp, featured intensive day-long training sessions and an expansive manufacturer product showcase. The former included a new CEDIA-credited multi-dwelling unit curriculum developed jointly by CEDIA and the National Systems Contractors Association, which made its national debut here, plus a host of product training classes presented by Home Automation.

On the show floor, exhibitors ranged from Canon, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Sony and Toshiba, to Optoma, Panasonic, Philips, Premier Mounts, Samsung and Viewsonic.

DTE moves on to the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Nov. 7.
