Chief Redesigns Swing-Arm Kits

By Staff -- TWICE, 10/22/2007

Minneapolis — Chief Manufacturing redesigned its in-wall swing-arm kits for compatibility with smaller screens and has included even more “installer-friendly” features.

For new construction or retrofit installations, the FAC501 is designed to convert on-wall swing arm mounts from low profile to absolutely no-profile, making screens appear to float on the wall, said the company. The swing arm mount is completely hidden in the wall.

The FAC501 fits 20-inch to 26-inch LCD TVs, joining the large and medium versions, PAC501 and MAC501. The three swing-arm accessories now offer faster installation with an electrical box included for improved electrical compatibility. The arms ship pre-assembled for quick connection into the box, no arm disassembly is required. Integrated spacers eliminate the need for shims.

The kits are available in black or can be painted, and come with trim for a finished look.
