COMPTON, CALIF. — Offering the company's ClearScan technology, the Belkin TuneBase FM transmitter is designed to find the clearest FM frequency with just one push of a button.

Other features include line out for use with car-stereo inputs or cassette adapter, pro setting that optimizes audio and boosts volume. It reportedly transmits audio wirelessly on multiple FM channels from 88.1MHz to 107.9MHz.

The TuneBase FM can also mount and power an iPod in the car. Multiple cradles fit any docking iPod, said the company.

It will be available in mid-October for a $89.99 suggested retail.
