JVC Announces Air-Cushioned Earphones

by Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 9/6/2007 7:14:00 AM

Wayne, N.J. — JVC announced in-ear headphones that are designed with a soft, silicon rubber air cushion meant for a secure, comfortable fit.

The cushion air pieces are made with silicon rubber and memory-foam cushion earpieces, and its design provides “superior isolation from background noise,” said JVC, enabling the user to get the most out of the headphone's 8.5mm neodymium driver. Noise caused by cord movement is also minimized because of the headphone's friction noise-reduction cord.

Available in four colors — blue, black, red and white — the JVC HA-FX66 headphones also offer three different size earpieces and have a $29.99 suggested retail. A carrying case is included.
