DBL's Chiarelli Delivers Convention Keynote

Scottsdale, Ariz. — Henry Chiarelli, president of DBL Distributing, delivered the keynote address at the annual National Professional Service convention, held last month in Denver. The event was sponsored by the National Electronics Service Dealers Association (NESDA), which provides professional education and networking opportunities for manufacturers and dealers in the consumer electronics service industry.

In other news, DBL recently partnered with Hosa Technology to distribute the manufacturer's Pro A/V cabling and adapters to its music retailer and e-tail members.

The company also recently entered an agreement to distribute Bytech's Case Logic cellular accessory line.

SED Offers GreenSky Business MasterCards

Atlanta — SED International has partnered with GreenSky Financial to offer the GreenSky Business MasterCard to its reseller customers throughout the United States. GreenSky is offering two credit card products through SED: the GreenSky Net 60 card and the GreenSky Rewards card.

According to a release, the cards offer interest-free net 60-day terms and reward points with no blackout dates or limited availability seats for airline tickets.

As an introductory promotion, GreenSky is offering $100 off the first $1,000 order placed with SED using the GreenSky credit card.

TAG Adds NW Rep

Redmond, Wash. — Smart Tech Wholesale, a division of Future Sales Group, has formally joined The Advantage Group (TAG) as its Northwest representative.

AVAD, Atlantic Name Contest Winners

Van Nuys, Calif. — AVAD's vendor partner Atlantic Technology recently hosted a sales contest for AVAD salespeople and dealers to reward "excellence in sales of Atlantic Technology in-wall, in-ceiling, outdoor, and flat -panel loudspeakers and subwoofers.

According to the companies, prizes of Atlantic Technology products worth a total of over $50,000 were awarded to salespeople at AVAD branches across the country. The contest was said to have been open to Atlantic Technology dealers who purchased their products from AVAD.

In other AVAD news, the distributor recently signed an agreement to carry Rockustics' entire line of "natural-looking" outdoor speakers. According to a release, over 30 models of the company's outdoor speakers will be available to AVAD dealers.

Ingram Micro Expands EMC Relationship

Santa Ana, Calif. — Ingram Micro's infrastructure technology solutions division has expanded the company's existing relationship with EMC to provide its North American solution provider clients access to EMC's information-storage product portfolio including EMC CLARiiON and EMC Celerra networked storage systems, and the EMC Centera content addressed storage system. The new products are available immediately.

DSI, Sharp Partner

Fishers, Ind. — DSI Systems said it has entered a new partnership with Sharp "to bring and industry leading LCD manufacturer to the members of the Nationwide Buying Group." As part of the deal, Nationwide members will now have access to Sharp's 720p and 1080p products from both the Sharp and Sharp Aquos lines.
