InFocus Adds Mobile PJ

Wilsonville, Ore.InFocus unveiled a new “ultra-mobile” DLP video projector, called the Work Big IN12, that uses a compact optics system.

The Work Big IN12 is targeting business professionals that require the ability to present video content on the road or in the boardroom.

The unit measures 1.7 inches thick (1.3 inches at the thinnest point), and weighs 3.9 pounds for transport inside a bag or briefcase.

Brightness is listed at 2,000 ANSI lumens and the contrast ratio is said to be 1800:1. Resolution is XGA.

Features include a wide-angle 1.4X zoom lens and motorized micro-adjustable focus with a throw distance starting a 2.7 feet.

The Work Big IN12 ships this month at a $1,299 suggested retail.
