Success Story: Plantronics Voyager 510 Headset

By Staff -- TWICE, 7/16/2007

While Motorola grabbed more than a 50 percent share of the category, Plantronics' 510 was the only noise-cancelling model in the top 10 and had the highest suggested retail at $99.95. Besides everyday wireless use, the company consulted with Microsoft and marketed the headset as "the industry's first VoIP optimized headset." The unit supports the integration and use of call-management capabilities featured in Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007.
