Akio Imanishi, senior VP of marketing for Aiwa America, is returning to the parent company's offices in Tokyo. Replacing him in March, also from Aiwa in Tokyo, is Taiji Izumi.Dick Muchanic, a 20-year Panasonic veteran who was most recently assistant general manager of the Home Appliance Division, named general manager of the division. Mary Sadankas, a Panasonic sales and marketing executive since 1986, named the division's marketing manager for microwave ovens.Richard Farone, Royal Appliance's product development VP for Dirt Devil, promoted to executive VP.Doug Culmone, client services director of Storis Management Systems, promoted to VP of client services, a new position.Joe Stevens, industry veteran with Arista, Gemini, Leviton and Panasonic, joins Coby Electronics as national sales manager.Chris Cook, technical consultant to CEA's Mobile Electronics Certified Professional program, will also serve as staff liaison to the division, its Mobile Information Technology Subdivision and the Mobile Electronics Division Board.Tom Brochard, former Madrigal Audio Labs executive, joins Tributaries as eastern regional sales manager.Leslie R. Stevens, product marketing manager at Sharp Electronics, joins Sonance as marketing director... Anthony Perez, Technicolor Packaged Media Group plant manager, joins International Recording Media Association (IRMA) as full-time anti-piracy compliance and certification program director. He replaces IRMA's part-time anti-piracy director, Rusty Capers, who is retiring... John Rauvola named VP of sales, marketing and product development at portable and home storage products manufacturer Case Logic... Wendy Wu promoted to president of Konka USA... Robert Minkhorst, former Philips Consumer Electronics North America CEO, named CEO of Atlanta-based SecureWorks.
