RadioShack Picks Up GE Cam

TORRANCE, CALIF. — RadioShack will pick up one of General Imaging's GE-branded digital cameras this month.
The retailer will carry the 8-megapixel GE E850 in 3,000 of its stores and online on an exclusive basis through September. It will also be available through RadioShack's Ship-to-Store and Direct-to-U programs. General Imaging is the exclusive licensee for GE-branded digital cameras.
The models were formerly announced at PMA. Since then, the company has placed cameras at Sears/Kmart and on the Home Shopping Network.
