Claire Babrowski, ex-acting president/CEO of RadioShack, joins Toys "R" Us as executive VP/COO, a new position. She reports to Jerry Storch, chairman/CEO ... David Johnson, senior VP and corporate controller of RadioShack, is leaving the company after July 31. He will be succeeded at that time by treasurer Martin Moad ... Michael E. Recca, chairman of Harvey Electronics, has been elected to replace Martin McClanan as the chain's interim CEO. McClanan's contract expired June 5. Recca has accepted the new position in anticipation of the completion of the merger with MyerEmco (TWICE, May 21, p. 4) ... Audiovox Electronics has announced several promotions. Ralph Etna has been named senior VP of the CG group, Bill Ennis named sales VP of the CG group, Joe Dentamaro promoted to vehicle security and tracking systems VP, and Ken Redman, advance product planning VP ... Karl Werner, who joined The NPD Group in 2006, has been named commercial technology VP where he is in charge of technology distribution, commercial resellers and office supplies categories ... Carlos Montalvo, a 20-year IT industry veteran, joins Hewlett-Packard's managed home business unit as marketing and services VP ... Monica Islas, ex-Mitsubishi Digital America, joins Westinghouse Digital Electronics as offering manager ... Jon W. Litt, ex-Monster Cable and member of CEDIA's board, joins Artison as domestic sales VP, a newly created position. Lawrence Davis, who has been consulting for Artison since 2004, will remain with the company as a member of the Artison executive committee … Ted Sanders is leaving PC Mall as CFO/treasurer for the CFO post at ViewSonic. He will be succeeded on an interim basis by VP/controller Brandon La VerneS. Sam Park, GM of Celanese (China) Holding, joins Cobra Electronics' board ... Bob Wells, former appliance merchant for The Home Depot's Expo Design Center, has joined West Coast majap distributor V-A-H Marketing as sales and marketing VP … Tom Roper, formerly of DSI, Home Shopping Network and OfficeMax, has joined SED International as director/GMM of CE purchasing, a new post.
